After such a long winter it's starting to feel like Spring is finally here! With it now beginning to feel like the warm weather is on its way your salon may feel like it needs a refresh too. Whilst it may not feel possible in terms of budget, there are so many small changes you can make that will make a big difference. Check out some options below.
1) Have a paint job!
A new lick of paint is one of the cheapest things you can do. Spring colours for 2024 include soft blues, lilacs and stark white. Choose a colour that will compliment your theme and brand and get painting! A colour refresh will help to cover up any stains on the walls or smooth out any cracks in the old paintwork which will make it feel much nicer too. Wallpaper could be another option if the walls aren't in great condition. We would suggest using heavy duty washable wall paper where possible in case of accidents. Use wallpaper in such a way to create focal points or features within your space.
2) Revamp your accessories!
Are your gowns and towels looking tired, stained or ragged? A quick way to make a change is to get new ones and maybe go for a new colour? You could get them in bright shades for that pop of colour or go for neutrals for the calm and serene feel. Regardless, new towels, gowns or both would be a super easy change with a big impact.
3) Change the metals!
There are so many options to change up the metal work in your salon. We have so many different metal finishes to choose from and almost anything with a metal finish can be changed to be made in the finish of your choice. From gold to copper, graphite to champagne the options for bespoke items are endless!
4) Swap your cushions!
If your chairs are from us but you've fallen out of love with the colour why not change the cushions? Cheaper than buying a whole chair, which is sometimes unnecessary, you can choose the colour fabric from hundreds of samples and revitalise your chairs that way. This can also be option for backwashes bought from us too.
5) Rebrand with decorations!
Sometimes it can feel like you need a rebrand and a way to do that is to change some of the decoration. Maybe create a feature wall? Floral walls or even simple wood panelling can be cost effective but also give maximum effect when done properly. We use panelling in our Showroom and the difference just a small amount can make to a space is huge. You could also move things around or create different spaces within your salon by dividing the space. Even adding some plants to the space can give it a new feel.
6) Go for a completely new look!
If budget allows you can do a complete overhaul of your salon and upgrade your furniture. New chairs, backwash, mirrors, trolleys or anything you feel needs a refresh will massively impact the space and the atmosphere inside the salon.
