There is nothing worse than being stood on your feet all day. Aches, pains and suffering to your feet, knees, back, neck and shoulders are all an occupational hazard of being a hair stylist and make focusing on the job difficult.

Whilst standing for long periods, our blood is working too hard to keep it circulating through our bodies in an upright position, causing other areas of our body to stress and tire quickly.

Our Solution? Anti-Fatigue Mats.

A Scientific Study at the University of Loughborough compared leg muscle activity when stood on a hard surface floor to anti-fatigue mats.

The study concluded that using anti-fatigue mats had a beneficial effect on the postural comfort of the body, allowing the user to shift weight with leg muscles contracting and relaxing as they work to keep you in an upright position. This muscle movement increases blood-flow, helping oxygen to reach the heart and maintain a healthy blood flow throughout the body. This in turn reduces the aches and pains felt around the body.

So do they work? Well we have always had very good feedback. They are one of our most popular products and many customers who have previously bought them order more when extending their salon.

Our anti-fatigue mats are made specifically for the hairdresser, exceptionally lightweight, durable and easy to clean. They are designed to be positioned around a Backwash Unit or Chair with depressions in the mat for your chair base.

Available in three different sizes; Rectangular, Semi-Circular and Hexagonal.Base shown is for illustration purposes, Mats can also be used with square and 5 Star Bases.
